DANIEL BENDER
Daniel is a happily married man to Francesa and a father to an amazing three year old girl named Layla.The sport he loves to play is soccer, while the sport he loves to watch is professional football. He was raised near Atlanta Georgia before moving to Statesboro Georgia, where he attended and graduated from Georgia Southern University in General Psychology and Writing. During and after his time at the university, he acquired over ten years of leadership experience in fast food, maintenance, banking, retail, and multi-unit positions before deciding to be a part of The Roof Mentors’ team. He was drawn to this company by the integrity and morals that Tyler McGowan and Nolan Clark embody in their business and everyday life. He is super appreciative of the opportunity to be able to help others in a way that directly and positively affects their lives on a daily basis.
CHRISTIAN McCRANIE
Christian is a recent Georgia Southern graduate with a BA in Modern Languages for Professions. After a stint in corporate sales, the passion was not there, and he decided to take a leap and venture into this industry. He has found it very rewarding to be able to help make a difference in the lives of others. He considers the best part of his job as being able to wake up each day and help homeowners in their struggle with insurance companies to help them replace a roof, and ultimately establish peace of mind for their families regarding their personal safety. As VP of Sales, it is his goal to establish our company as your go to solution of your roofing needs by creating value through our outstanding customer service, client relationships, and concern of the well-being of our neighbors, friends, and families.
KENNY MASON
Kenny is a mid-40’s husband and father of two teenagers. Kenny has been working in the customer service industry for over 20 years. He prefers to treat every customer he meets as his own family. His hobbies include riding his motorcycle, making handmade pens and doing hands on activities and smoking meat. In his free time, he enjoys restoring old motorcycles and helping people around the neighborhood. He as proclaimed himself as a workaholic but likes to spend as much time as he can with family and friends. You can call him today for all your roofing needs.
SHAWN DROSS
Dross is new to the area and brings 14 years of roofing experience. He also loves working with people and has 35 years of customer service to back it up. Dross joined this company to help as many homeowners as he can to affordably protect their number one asset.
WILL JONES
Will is originally from Savannah, Georgia. Before joining the team, he was living in the Chicago suburbs for 7 years. The move to North Carolina brings him closer to his longtime friends and family. Will enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, hitting the gym, and playing video games. He prices himself on working hard to help homeowners protect their home while providing them with answers to any questions they have to make sure the process runs smoothly.
JOSH HAWS
Josh graduated from Georgia Southern University where he originally met Tyler, Nolan, and Will. Josh was living in Richmond Hill, GA and work for Coca-Cola when he decided to embrace the change and work for guys he knows and trusts. Since he made that decision, he has been able to grow as a person and start to change his life in a way he never thought he could.
ZO PATE
Zo was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, but he was raised here in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He attended Terry Sanford High School and graduated in 1994. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served until he retired in 2014 as a Sergeant after six deployments. Zo is very family-oriented and highly motivated. Some of Sergeant Zo's hobbies are Grilling, bowling, shooting pool, fishing, and sports in general.
CAMILO DURAN
Camilo is a team player and a quick learner with strong analytical skills who has strong discipline and dedication when it comes to his work. Raised by a former Navy officer, being organized, respectful, detail-oriented, and responsible are essential pillars of his day-to-day work. Camilo was born in Colombia and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Music and Media Management at London Metropolitan University, UK. He also obtained a Master’s Degree at the University of Southampton, UK. Over the years, he has worked in several industries including food and beverages, tourism, industrial, shipyard, technology, and law. In his spare time, he enjoys playing video games and reading crime thriller novels.
DANA HOGAN
Dana brings several years of experience in management and construction. She dedicates every day to making sure our homeowners are taken care of and that our standards of communication are met. She is a very proud mother and grandmother. Her favorite things to talk about include her granddaughter’s accomplishments and how UNC is the best team in college basketball. She is happy to assist you with getting your free estimate!
SUSAN SHOE
Susan was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC. She works in our Accounting Department. In her current role, she handles invoicing, working with our clients and their insurance companies, Accounts Receivable, and any other accounting related activities.
She joined our team in October 2022 bringing numerous years of experience in all aspects of Account Management, Customer Service, Networking and Human Resource Management with her.
Susan is a daughter, wife, mother of three, and grandmother of five. She enjoys spending time with her family and loves babysitting her grands. She enjoys her Beach Time and loves to fish. She also enjoys her trips to the mountains to take in the majestic views of our NC Mountains.
LOWELL OVERTON
Lowell came from Ontario, Canada while being a dual U.S./Canadian citizen with his wife, Rachel. He is a father of two that still currently live in Ontario, Canada. He had helped hundreds of homeowners roofs and solar panels in Ontario before arriving here at The Roof Mentors. He is passionate about helping people, and it shows. His interests are sports (soccer, golf, other sports where all can play), woodworking, home improvement, and renewable energy. He is active in the North Carolina Audubon Society and the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science.
MATT KLEIN
Matt is a pretty straight forward guy. When it comes to life and values, he believes family, hardwork, and a strong belief system to be three main pillars of life. He is a hardworking father of three kids all 7 and under, and a husband to the best person he has ever met. If he is not doing some type of roofing work, or coaching his kid’s t-ball games, you can expect him to be planning his next fishing trip or hunting adventure. If you call him, you can expect him to take pride in his job and make sure he does it to the best of his ability, all to ensure you get the best possible service.
BRANDON GOWEN
Brandon, known by friends as lucky, is a seasoned musician and dedicated employee. He loves new challenges and brain teasers, and in his free time, enjoys working on cars and motors. He also enjoys meeting new people and learning new things. He has always believed that knowledge is essential, and you can never have enough of it. “The more you learn, the less you know” is a quote he lives by. Brandon comes from a long line of family members that have served in the military, and he has an extensive background in music, mechanics, and martial arts. Helping, teaching, and mentoring people is his favorite way to interact with others. He believes you can do anything you put your mind to!
DALTON COOKE
Dalton is a FIeld Relations Executive for the Roof Mentors. He has been in the trades for 10 years with a majority of those years focused on roofing. Though he loved doing the installation he has loved the transition to helping a variety of individuals find out the best way to get their roof fixed. His hobbies are golfing, video games and he enjoys a good concert. Dalton started his journey with the roof mentors in early 2022 and has found a family away from home and enjoys the work he does day in and day out helping homeowners take care of their roofing needs.
CHRIS ALVIAR
Chris is a 13-year Army veteran who grew up in Southern Texas. He decided to leave the military in hopes of helping the community protect their greatest assets and joined the roofing industry. In his spare time, you can find him on the local golf course or spending time with his three children.
NOE VIVAS - RIVERA
Noe Vivas was born and raised in Sanford, North Carolina. He has over three years of roofing experience, as well as some experience with steel framing. He loves to work and is always ready to learn new things. In his free time, he loves to play soccer and go to the gym. He is a very energetic, friendly, and out going young man that will make sure that his job is being done to the best of his ability. His goal is to build and grow within the company and become a valuable asset that his team and homeowners can count on. He not only loves this company but will treat and represent The Roof Mentors the best he can every chance he gets.
MARTEZ EVANS
Martez has a deep-rooted desire for personal and professional growth. During his college years, Martez had the fortune of crossing paths with Christian McCranie, a college friend who played a pivotal role in shaping his professional trajectory. Christian introduced him to an exciting opportunity at The Roof Mentors after his return to Fayetteville years later. He enjoys all things sports and outdoors and is looking forward to being a part of the team and helping out in the area.
LANCE DELES DERNIER
Lance, now in his 30s, has been in customer service for over 15 years. He makes it a point to treat everyone with respect and love like they are his family. His hobbies include; video gaming, spending time with his future wife, and golfing. He is a very hard working individual that will always do his best in any situation, especially when helping others in need.
ROBERT NEUMANN
Robert Neumann is a devoted father to two wonderful daughters, Emily and Lyla, and a beautiful wife, Celeste. He was a military brat, a background that has deeply ingrained in him a profound sense of adaptability and resilience. Over the past decade, he has specialized in sales within the vibrant beer and wine industry, refining his expertise in customer engagement and market strategy. Robert's fervor for sales is rivaled only by his enthusiasm for playing poker, visiting family in Mexico City, and crafting winning strategies for fantasy football. Travis is a proud North Carolina native who hails from Surry County. As a 17 year veteran of the sales industry, he has spent his career helping people receive the best value for their money from the hospitality industry to home sales. Travis attended Appalachian State University and enjoys billiards and spending time with friends. He also enjoys traveling to unique areas across the globe anywhere from Colombia to Dubai. By far, his favorite thing to do is to spend time with his ten year-old son Macallan. Whenever he has time, you can catch him volunteering with area organizations and doing service work. ALEX IRIZARRY
Alex was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and his family moved to Buffalo, NY when he was just 7 years old. Once he graduated from high school, he joined the Marine Corps and is a proud veteran! After that, he went to school for HR management and worked several management jobs before landing with this great company. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife of three years who served in the Navy. Other interests included playing softball and local hikes. He is always on the hunt for great local food and supporting local businesses!
